     Elephants are , however,  an endangered animal as many humans hunt them down for their tusk , feet or bones .
      There are two species of elephant-the Asian elephant and the African elephant . Both population are dwindling . 
       Elephants are gentle even though they may appear to be big and scary. Everyone should step up and help to stop poaching. Or else , the elephants may become extinct

A-Z Animals


A is for ant
Who lives on land!
B Is for baboon
who's butt is redder than the moon !
C is for cow
who really doesn't make me wow!
D is for donkey
who goes,"Knee knee!"
E is for elephant
Who is bigger than an island!
F is for fish
In the water they swish !
G is for giraffe
watching them on TV alone is not enough!
H is for  hummingbird
they're even smaller than a bowl of bean curd !

     The common house lizard is a native of Southeast Asia. To some people, these nocturnal creatures are pest.in some households , residents set up lizard traps , hoping to trap the lizard.  

     The common house lizard can grow to approximately 14 cm .It eats insects but is not harmful to humans. when it is alarmed, it will lose its tail on purpose . The common house lizard makes a chirping sound .it goes : "chheck chekk chikk " or something like that . in southeast asia , like Singapore and Malaysia , they are known as "cicak" which is in malay language .
